Items left in shared areas could fuel a fire or become serious obstacles in an emergency

If your home has any shared stairways or entrances, please be considerate to your neighbours - these areas are used by all of you.

These areas are used by all of you, they are also the escape route for you and your neighbours in the event of a fire. Please don’t keep any personal items, including bicycles and pushchairs, on shared stairways entrances and landings, and please don’t discard unwanted items in shared areas.

If you have a mobility scooter you must make your own arrangements to store and charge it. You must not keep motorised scooters and wheelchairs in shared halls.

We can't allow any petrol-driven vehicles or machinery to be stored in any shared area.
