On Friday 28 June residents of Tintagel Close in Keynsham enjoyed a community barbecue and drumming evening. Residents took the lead on organising this event which was designed to bring the community together and would involve children and adults.

Family returns to home village thanks to new Curo development

A young couple and their two children are able to live closer to family and friends thanks to new homes built by Curo at its Highbury Fields development in the village of Clutton. Beth, who is 26 years old and from Clutton, and Danny, who’s 33 years old and was born and raised just a couple of miles down the road, in Paulton, have been looking to buy their first home together in the village but were struggling to find the right property.

Public exhibition will show plans for 47 new affordable homes in Filwood, Bristol

Housing association Curo has announced it proposes to build up to 47 new affordable homes at Broadbury Road in Filwood, Bristol. A public exhibition will be held on Wednesday 3 July to share the proposals and enable local residents to give their views. The consultation will take place between 3-7pm at the Broad Plain House social club, opposite the police station on Broadbury Road, BS4 1JT.

Community kitchen makeover part of £26m Curo investment

Residents at Chandler Close, a sheltered housing scheme run by Curo, have marked the opening of their new community kitchen with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and buffet. We recently completed the refurbishment of the busy community kitchen as part of a wider programme to install brand new kitchens in 37 homes across the sheltered housing scheme.
