We charge rents to cover the costs of maintaining, managing your home and carrying out essential repairs and future improvements. It is, of course, important that we collect the rent and service charges due for your home. Find out how you can pay your rent or any other charges.

The rent we charge depends on:

  • The type and size of your home.
  • Whether it has been modernised.

Your rent is due weekly in advance. You can pay your rent every month, but it must be paid in advance or by Direct Debit or standing order.

Service charges

Service charges are payments made by our customers for the costs of providing services in shared areas.

Services provided to your home can differ depending on the type of property you live in or the area surrounding you.

We will explain the charges you must pay when you take up a tenancy with us, and these charges will also be set out in your tenancy agreement.

Rent statements

If you're registered on MyCuro, you can check your account history, view past rent statements and generate your own rent statement in a few easy steps. Watch our handy video below on how to generate your own rent statement.

If you have difficulties paying your rent

Contact us immediately if you have any problems. Once we know that you have problems we can often help you by checking that you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to and working out the best way of paying your rent and repaying the debt. We can also help by putting you in touch with an organisation that specialises in giving debt advice.
