Residents at Wick House are enjoying a fresh new community space after a major makeover of their communal hall.
Working closely with residents, we held several meetings to understand how the hall could be improved. Together, we redesigned the space, introducing new tables and chairs, new curtains, and carrying out a complete clear-out of years of unwanted clutter. The hall's new centrepiece is a multi-use pool table, giving residents an enjoyable space to socialise, relax and spend time together.
To celebrate the transformation, residents and colleagues came together for a launch event on 4 September.
The feedback from residents has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have told us how much they appreciate having a welcoming, modern space where they can spend time with neighbours, make new connections and enjoy community activities together.
