Located at the heart of the new community at Locking Parklands, Phase 4 will offer a wide range of homes for sale, social rent and shared ownership for local people, from 1- and 2-bedroom apartments to 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom family homes in a variety of styles and finishes.
As required by the Outline Planning Permission, 16 of the new homes will be affordable housing, of which 13 will be let at social rent and three will be sold through the affordable homeownership scheme, Shared Ownership.
As a housing association and housebuilder, our aim is to deliver the homes our region needs, including more affordable housing for local people. That's why we're committed to working with North Somerset Council and Homes England to find ways to provide more affordable homes on this site. Our ambition is to deliver up to 30% affordable housing in Phase 4 of development at Locking Parklands, if we can secure grant funding to support this.
Phase 4 at Locking Parklands is a contemporary scheme and will deliver attractive, energy-efficient homes in a beautiful open greenspace setting, with established, protected trees and rich wildlife habitats. The first new Curo homes at Locking Parklands will be available in September 2023.
