Cleaning

We provide a weekly cleaning service to more than 580 apartment blocks and sheltered housing schemes. This includes looking after communal areas inside and outside the building.

Inside your building

The layout of a building will determine exactly what cleaners will do, but typically it will include:

  • vacuuming/mopping/sweeping of communal floors (including external entrance areas)
  • litter picking
  • bin rooms,
  • communal window cleaning
  • dusting
  • cleaning of door entry panels,

(Please note that some services are periodical – not necessarily every week.)

After the cleaners have been you can expect that:

  • Floors have been cleaned (hard floors) or vacuumed (carpets), although some marks remain due to ground-in dirt
  • Glass and ledges have been wiped (although hard-to-reach ledges may have minimal build up)
  • Cobwebs have been removed
  • Walls have been spot-cleaned and minimal cleaning marks remain
  • Windows are clean and clear with very minimal marks or smears. Inside, the window may have slight build up around the edges but window is mark-free. The outside of the windows are cleaned four times a year.

Outside your building

We're also responsible for sweeping approximately 300,000 square metres of footpaths, garage forecourts, and other hard-surfaced communal areas on our land.

You can see which areas we’re responsible for on our Estates Map.
