Broadbury Road, Bristol
Curo are proposing a new 100% affordable housing development at Broadbury Road in Filwood, Bristol. The scheme could see up to 47 much-needed new homes built on the land adjacent to the Broad Plain social club.

Curo are proposing to deliver 25 houses and 22 flats and maisonettes with one to three bedrooms.
Of these, 37 homes would be available to purchase via the Shared Ownership scheme, offered on a part-buy/part-rent basis for local people who qualify – while the remainder ten homes would be let on social rent through Bristol City Council's choice-based lettings system, HomeChoice.
The majority of the new homes would be offered though Shared Ownership in response to the local housing demand, which highlights a need for this type of affordable homeownership product. People interested in Shared Ownership can register their interest and check their eligibility at www.helptobuysouth.co.uk.
The development plans do not include the Broad Plain House social club, which will remain in place for local residents to continue to enjoy into the future. Curo’s plans also include sufficient parking provision for new residents on site, in line with BCC’s policy.
If granted planning permission, Curo could start building works in June next year and complete the development by mid-2021.
On Wednesday 3 July 2019, Curo hosted a public exhibition to showcase the development proposals for Broadbury Road. If you've missed the event, you can see the exhibition boards here and let us know what you think by filling out the feedback form below (available until Wednesday 17 July).
