Creating thriving mixed communities
Century Park is one of three sites identified for vital new housing in the Lawrence Weston Neighbourhood Plan and will make a significant contribution to the housing stock, enabling more local families to stay in the area. The proposals have been developed by Curo in consultation with the resident-driven organisation Ambition Lawrence Weston, Bristol Urban Design Forum and Bristol City Council’s affordable housing team.
The development consists of a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bed homes, the majority of which are 2 and 3-bedroom houses (110 homes), in response to the local housing need as outlined in the Lawrence Weston Housing Needs Study.
High quality public spaces
Aside from delivering much-needed new homes, the development will bring improvements to the existing infrastructure with new zebra crossings and bus shelters on Kings Weston Lane and Long Cross. A generous extent of green open space and high quality public areas that are safe and secure are also being delivered, alongside the retention and enhancement of existing pedestrian and cycle routes through site.
Construction
Our construction working hours are between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturdays.
