Getting new radiators and boiler

Getting a new boiler and radiators

New boilers and radiators will make your home warmer and more energy efficient.

When we replace a boiler and radiators the work may include:

  • Removing your existing boiler and radiators
  • Installing a new boiler
  • Installing new radiators
  • Adjustments to pipework, valves, and controls
  • Filling, testing, and balancing the heating system
  • Showing you how to use the new heating controls

Before we do any work, a Curo surveyor will always explain exactly what we're planning to do.

How long will the work take?

Boiler and radiator replacement usually takes several days, depending on the size of your home and the amount of work needed.

We'll let you know how long we expect the work in your home to take before we begin, and let you know if anything anything changes.

Will there be any disruption?

There will be some disruption, including:

  • Temporary loss of heating and hot water
  • Noise and movement of materials inside your home
  • Contractors working in several rooms

We’ll work carefully, keep disruption to a minimum, and leave your home safe at the end of each day.

Will I need to be at home?

Yes. We’ll need to be in your home during the work. We’ll let you know:

  • When the engineer will arrive and leave each day
  • How long the work is expected to take
  • Which rooms will be affected
  • When heating or hot water may be temporarily unavailable
