The impact of rising food and energy costs is putting pressure on many households, and it can affect anyone. If you’re finding things difficult right now, there’s support available in your community.
For the last few years, Curo has worked with local charity More Trees to improve our estates green spaces, by creating homes and food for wildlife, as well as places for the community to enjoy.
Curo is delighted to help honour the work of Knowle West community hero, Bert Abrams. A blue plaque, recently unveiled by Deputy Lord Mayor of Bristol, Cllr Andrew Varney, as part of a new affordable housing development, celebrates his decades-long commitment to youth work.
We’re very proud to be involved in a project that recently featured on the One Show. Kevin Duala from the popular BBC1 programme dropped by as we donated Chromebooks and monitors to local re-use charity Donate IT. They work across the south west, saving old IT from the scrapheap and putting devices in the hands of those in most need.
The Pantry, Curo’s support service and foodbank, will be closed until further notice so that we can carry out repairs to the building.
