Our annual awards recognising unsung heroes in the community and beautiful garden spaces are now open. We'll celebrate all those shortlisted by our panel of judges and give prizes for the winning entries in both awards at our free community day, Curo's Big Get Together, in September.
A Bath-based charity are on a mission to bring people together to share, repair, reuse, and learn across B&NES and beyond. Curo is delighted to support the charity’s new ‘lending lockers’ at Mulberry Park Hub. These are the first of its kind in the South West.
The Pantry, Curo’s support service and foodbank, will be closed until further notice so that we can carry out repairs to the building.
Bath Area Play Project (BAPP) now has a new van to thanks to Bath-based housing association Curo, and Travis Perkins Managed Services.
Keynsham resident Len Griffin won the Community Hero of the Year award at this year’s Curo Awards for the kindness and support he shows to his neighbours.
Fire officers from Avon Fire and Rescue Service descended on the Snow Hill block of flats, with two fire engines outside, a ladder reaching almost to the top of the building, and smoke filling a flat on the highest floor.
New play equipment is being installed at Whiteway Green. Work is due to be completed in time for the summer holidays.
