Curo has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating their commitment to realising the potential of their people.
One of the biggest providers of affordable housing in the region, we employ over 500 people and are already ranked among the 100 Best Not-for-Profit Companies to work for in the country.
This latest accreditation sees Curo awarded the Gold level of Investors in People, the international standard for people management which defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.
Commenting on the award, Donna Warr, Curo Head of Colleague Experience, said: “At Curo our mission is to provide great homes, support communities and improve lives. We know that to do that exceptionally well we need colleagues who are passionate about what they do, who care for our customers and who love coming to work. That’s something we work hard to get right, so it’s fantastic to receive this glowing endorsement of the investment we make into our colleagues.”
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Curo, Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, and an organisation committed to achieving success by realising the potential of their people. Curo should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
Donna Warr added: “The assessors were impressed with how we consistently live our values through the work that we do and how we are creating sustainable success as an organisation.
“The assessors praised our proactive approach to engaging with our colleagues; in particular our annual colleague conference, quarterly briefings delivered by our directors, and our Chatterbox colleague newsletter. They also highlighted our recently developed Roadmap to Diversity as good practice in the field of inclusion, equality and diversity.”
