Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AFRS) will be carrying out a fire test and training exercise at Berkeley House, Snow Hill on Thursday 15 June between 6:30pm-8:30pm. If you're in the area you may notice a lot of activity with fire engines, ladders, hoses and fire officers in and around the building. Please don’t be alarmed. This is a routine exercise.
Hoarding is a recognised mental health condition. Sufferers find it hard to get rid of things which can result in their home becoming full of possessions. This makes everyday tasks difficult and can cause significant distress. If you know someone suffering with hoarding disorder, there are things you can do to help.
