Work Wise - Help finding work
Curo’s Work Wise team can offer you support to gain employability skills, build confidence and enter into new work experience placements to help you get into employment.
Working Well is a free service helping people living in B&NES aged 14-55 to build confidence and gain new skills through one-to-one coaching, activities and training; CV writing and working out a career direction; job and apprenticeship searching.
Our Accredited Work Placement Programme is designed to help people living in Curo properties start work placements to gain valuable work experience, build skills in the work place and overcome barriers to employment – while completing NVQ units with a local college.
This scheme is for anybody who'd like to access work opportunities, trials, jobs or apprenticeships at Curo’s Mulberry Park site in Foxhill, Bath. Trades include brickwork, groundworks, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and decorating.
Curo offers a wide range of apprenticeships, open to all age groups (16 years and above) whether you're just leaving school, have been working for years or are seeking to start a new career.
Each year we offer a Curo Scholarship worth £9,000 to help a Curo customer into a degree-level course.
