Leaseholder safety certificates

At Curo, your safety is our top priority. We carry out safety checks in all the flats we own in Curo buildings to make sure everyone who lives in them is safe. We also need to know that the property you own, as a leaseholder, is safe.

To give us this assurance we’re asking you, and every homeowner or landlord in our buildings, to provide: 

• A gas safety certificate once a year.
• An electrical safety certificate every five years.
• Confirmation that your home has a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm on each floor.

If the gas certificate is more than a year old, or the electrical certificate five years or more, please arrange a new safety check.
