Residents at The Green in Odd Down, Bath, came together on the afternoon of Friday 18 July, for a heartwarming gathering and a cup of tea to celebrate the transformation of their shared outdoor space, made possible by a £250 Curo Community Grant.
Thanks to the funding, the group gave their garden a fresh new look. Benches were repainted, weed suppressant and decorative stones were laid, and colourful new hanging baskets and planters were added. Wall decorations now brighten the space, and the patio was thoroughly cleaned with kiln sand.
The result is a welcoming, refreshed area where neighbours can relax, connect, and enjoy time together.

This project is a great example of how our community grants can help local groups improve their surroundings and build stronger connections. Even better, the residents plan to keep the momentum going by meeting regularly and making the most of their new space.
