From 7 April 2025 your rent and service charges will change, following our annual rent review. It’s essential that you tell the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) about these changes.
If you don't report any changes to them correctly, it could lead to delays in payments.
To see your new rent and service charges, check your annual rent review letter from Curo which is available on MyCuro now.
How to report rent and service charges to the DWP
Log in to your Universal Credit Journal and complete your to-do lists, giving the DWP as much information as possible to avoid any mistakes. If you have a phone claim, please call 0800 328 5644.
When should you report this change?
We suggest you update your to-do list with your new charges on 7 April, not before. If you are charged rent monthly, make the change on 1 April instead.
Examples of a tenant to-do list
Here’s an example of the screens you will see (this is based on rent being charged weekly). Your to-do will be personalised to your own circumstances.
Step 1: Date of change

Step 2: Rent

Step 3: Eligible service charges

If you have any questions or need help doing this, please contact Curo’s Customer Accounts team here or email customeraccountshelp@curo-group.co.uk.
