Power Up your skills
Curo’s Power Up Programme can give you the work skills you need. There are two courses – one aimed at women and one for male and female 16-25 year olds. Find out how they can help you take the next step in your career.
Are you unsure about what to do with your life? Maybe you don’t feel you have the right skills to get a job? Perhaps you’re working in a low-paid job and want to move on to something better?
Or have you been out of work for a while? Do you have parental or caring responsibilities? Are there barriers that stop you getting the job you want?
Power Up is an employability programme that can help you:
· find a job that’s right for you
· manage your finances
· build confidence and resilience
We’ll introduce you to new ‘green’ jobs, as well as roles in construction and trades - many of which aren’t manual roles and which may surprise you.
You can join the course in person, at The Hub in Mulberry Park, or virtually on demand. When you complete the course, you'll get a personal grant to help you cover any expenses with your employability or training goals after the programme, and an Amazon voucher worth £25 from Curo.
