We are pleased to announce that Jane Tabor has become Curo’s new Chair of Board. Jane is an experienced Board member with a strong business background and has previously held Non-Executive Director positions at Vivid Homes and First Wessex Housing. Most recently, she was a Non-Executive Director of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
“The clear purpose, priorities and values of Curo resonate strongly with me,” said Jane. “I’m excited by the opportunity to help shape and grow such a progressive, highly regarded values-based organisation to continue to provide more quality homes, communities and support services, enabling customers to thrive and live their lives to the full.”
Jane has a corporate MBA and her work has included board and committee roles within Further Education and Sport, as well as a long professional career as a Director and Business Leader at IBM, a global technology, services and solutions company renowned for its high levels of customer service.
To get to know Curo, Jane will now complete a comprehensive induction programme, where she’ll meet lots of colleagues and customers and visit many of our schemes, projects and properties.
Jane replaces outgoing Chair Liz Potter, who is leaving after serving two three-year terms. Curo’s governance rules mean that board members can only hold a position for a certain length of time.
Liz said: “Chairing the Curo board has been a wonderful experience. I wish Curo colleagues and customers the very best for the future. I’ll continue to follow Curo’s progress with great interest and affection.”
