Like most businesses, Curo has a long-term strategic plan, which sets out our priorities for the next five years. Our strategic plan is based around five priorities, the second of which is to provide great properties and places for our customers. This is what we want to discuss with you in more detail during these sessions.
If you’d like to help shape our new strategy, please join one of these online focus groups in March 2021(and read on for more info):
The sessions will take place using Google Meet, and will be run by our Executive Director of Property Services, Julie Evans. We can help you get set up if you haven't used Google Meets before, just ask.
We want as wide a range of customers to attend these sessions as possible, homeowners, renters and sheltered tenants are all welcomed and are equally important.
Interested?
To book your place, email us at VoiceBox@curo-group.co.uk, or contact us and ask to speak to our Resident Involvement Team.
Once booked in we'll send you a pack with some pre-reading you can do before the session to gain a better understanding of what will be discussed.
A little background
We developed our Great Properties and Places strategy in 2017, and it was approved by our Board in early 2018. A lot has changed since 2018. In the last 12 months alone, we’ve seen the COVID-19 pandemic, the social housing ‘white paper’ and changes to building safety legislation. More recently there have been quite a few Government announcements which will require changes to the way housing associations operate, particularly in relation to property safety, how customers are involved in safety decisions, and proposals to decarbonise our homes and make them more energy efficient.
So this is a great time to have an open discussion with you.
We really want to improve the quality of our homes and the places where you live, so let’s talk about this strategy that affects you, to make sure it delivers for you.
