Curo Enterprise Ltd - Health and Safety Policy Statement
It is the policy of Curo Enterprise Ltd to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all persons who may be affected by its activities.
The Board of Directors and Senior Managers have given their commitment to this Policy.
Further to the general requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 the Company is committed to:
- The prevention of accidents and cases of work- related ill health with the provision of adequate controls, for the elimination of health and safety risks arising from work activities.
- The provision of adequate financial, human or other resources to ensure the effective implementation of the Policy
- Regular engagement and consultation with its employees on health and safety issues and the provision of advice on occupational health matters.
- Establishing, implementing and maintaining a process for ongoing hazard identification, risk assessment, and the determination of necessary controls.
- Ensuring the requirements of the Health & Safety Policy are communicated to all employees and the involvement of all individuals in the management of health and safety is actively promoted through effective consultation and engagement.
- Providing the resources necessary to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of its own and sub- contractors employees whilst at work.
- Providing and maintaining safe plant, equipment and systems of
- Making arrangements for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and
- Providing information, instruction, training and supervision to all employees to ensure that they properly discharge their responsibilities and duties.
- Providing and maintaining safe places of work and means of entry to and exit from
- Providing and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for all
- Promoting best practices which minimise the risk of injury and occupational ill
- Regularly set objectives and targets and review
- Continually improve upon health and safety performance and
- Commission and carry out external H&S Audits of its operations, based on the current risk to the business (Independent from ENT retained external H&S Consultant).
To meet these standards, Curo Enterprise Ltd has a Safety Management System in place that complies with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems.
The Policy shall be communicated to all personnel working on behalf of Curo Enterprise Ltd through their project inductions and shall be prominently displayed at all project locations. The Policy shall also be made publicly available via the Curo Enterprise Ltd website.
The Curo Enterprise Ltd.'s Board and the Executive Director Finance & Strategy, shall review this policy on a regular basis and determine the necessary resources to ensure the policy's implementation.
It is the duty of all members of the workforce to be aware of and conform to the Health and Safety Policy and Codes of Practice and to accept and carry out defined responsibilities.
This policy will be issued to other interested parties upon request.
