Waste collections in Bath & North East Somerset

Post image

The changes in B&NES Council’s waste collection service have required significant changes to storage provision, particularly in blocks of flats, and we’re working to address these.

We have added in additional services at no extra cost to our customers in an attempt to reduce the accumulation of waste. We have a team of two operatives from our cleaning contractors carrying out full clear-outs in bin stores across B&NES.

We are currently reviewing all our bin stores and have a programme in place for our larger blocks. We are currently visting our sites to assess what changes we need to make to bin stores, and we'll let residents know about changes to their block when we have details.

How can you help?

Residents can help by not leaving waste outside storerooms and if bins left outside correctly are not collected they should contact the Council.

Need help taking your rubbish and recycling out?

For residents who are not able to move their rubbish or recycling themselves, B&NES Council offers assisted collections.  To request this, residents can complete an application form on the Council's website.  Applicants needs will be assessed and B&NES may contact them for more information.  For our residents who are not able to get online, Curo can offer assistance to complete the form - just get in touch.

We’re continuing to talk to B&NES Council to find the best solutions for our customers.
