Residents at St Nicholas Court in Bathampton held a vintage tea party on 27 September, raising £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support through a raffle and donations.

Curo Sheltered Housing Officer Yvonne Blair helped to organise the event, baking the cakes and supplying her own vintage china: “It was a lot of hard work but truly amazing to see so much fun being had while raising money for Macmillan. Around 25 people came along and we had some fantastic raffle prizes up for grabs.”

St Nicholas Court is one of 15 Livewell Hubs provided by housing association Curo across Bath & North East Somerset. The Hubs organise and host a number of activities which are open to Curo residents as well as other members of the local community. Find out more about Curo’s Livewell Hubs here.
