The development of a vision for the regeneration of Foxhill is now in full swing. In January, award-winning architects HTA Design were appointed to work with Curo and local residents to develop a masterplan for Foxhill.
HTA Design were selected following a rigorous process involving members of the Foxhill community and Curo’s Foxhill Project Team.
First public exhibition
HTA and the Foxhill Project Team are running a series of design workshops with local residents and stakeholders to discuss ideas for the regeneration of the site and explore issues like housing, open spaces, community facilities and transport.
Councillor Cherry Beath said: “The appointment of HTA is good news, they appear to be an innovative, experienced team, ready to listen to residents and the first design workshop was a positive start to the process. Curo working together with HTA with an open approach and emphasis on local consultation is spot on."
Curo has also appointed Bath Demolition Ltd to clear the existing buildings from the former MoD site at Foxhill. They will be on site until July 2014. Bath Demolition will recycle as much of the old building material as possible to minimise waste and site traffic.
