A Curo colleague who helps customers to tackle money problems has picked up the Curo Customer Choice Award at our annual Spotlight Awards held earlier this month in Bath.
The annual Customer Choice Award is an opportunity for Curo customers to nominate individuals who they’d like to see recognised for their outstanding customer service.
This year the panel chose Curo Customer Accounts Manager Matt Dix. Matt was praised for his calm, patient and reassuring approach, and was described as ‘a credit to Curo’.
This year Curo received a record number of nominations from Curo customers. The winner was selected by a panel of judges and, on the night, Curo customer Natasha presented the award to Matt.
On winning the award Matt said: “It felt great that a customer had taken the time to make a nomination and that I’d had the opportunity to help her. It’s a reminder why I and so many of the people I work with at Curo go to the efforts we do to make a difference.”
One customer contacted Curo to describe how they felt “as though a massive weight had been lifted” thanks to Matt’s support through a tough time. “He never put me under any pressure and made me feel like I didn't have to hide, reassuring me that Curo are always happy to help a resident in need.”
Louise Swain, Curo Executive Director for Customer Service, said: “At Curo, customer service is our top priority so it’s fantastic to hear from so many customers who have taken the time to share their experiences of Curo and nominate someone who, like Matt, has made such a difference to their lives.”
The night also saw £1,868 raised for Curo’s charity of the year, CLIC Sargent, through a raffle held on the night. This takes Curo’s fundraising total for CLIC Sargent over £5,000.
Many of Curo’s suppliers and business partners generously supported the event by donating raffle prizes: 1st Touch, Creatrix PR, Ian Williams, Jeffrey Carpets, Mustard Market Research, Orbis Protect Limited, Renelec Groundworks, Theatre Royal Bath, Vuelio and Wessex Group.
