Christmas tree collections 2018/19

Are you getting a real Christmas tree this year? Wondering how to recycle it after Christmas? Here are some options:

Dorothy House Christmas tree collections

Local hospice, Dorothy House, is running a limited fundraising Christmas tree collection service in Bath's BA1 and BA2 areas. Pre-booked collections will take place between Friday 11 and Sunday 13 January 2019 in exchange for a donation. To book, visit www.charityxmastreecollection.com

Your local council Christmas tree collections

Check whether your local council is collecting trees. Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) Council is offering Christmas tree collection to all B&NES residents. Trees can be put out for collection free of charge on garden waste collection days from Monday 28 January until Friday 8 February 2019. Bristol City Council offers a similar service. Alternatively, you can take your Christmas tree to your local recycling centre.

Curo Christmas tree collections

Curo will be collecting Christmas trees on your estate or block's bulk waste day from the week starting Monday 7 January 2019. Please put your tree within the bulk store ready for collection by our contractor. Any Christmas trees left outside of the bulk store will be treated as flytipping which incurs a charge that's added onto customers' service charges.

Look out for information from your council about any changes to your usual recycling and rubbish collection days over Christmas and the New Year.
