Curo’s new Livewell service is connecting older people with their communities by building a network of 12 hubs which are becoming the heart of our older person communities – places where residents of Bath & North East Somerset, over the age of 55, can get together and take part in all kinds of activities, events and clubs.
Our growing range of events, activities and services are all designed to boost wellbeing - helping you stay active, independent and connected within your community.
We also have a lot of fun and laughs along the way!

What our customers say about us...
Eric thinks the Quebec lunch club is fantastic: “We get to meet new people and spend the day having a bit of fun. We even won some prizes in the raffle today! I’m looking forward to the new activities Curo are starting this year. We’ll definitely be there.”
Brenda is another big fan of the lunch club and her local hub: “I attend the monthly lunch club, Goldies singing and I’ll be joining the weekly talking book club. We enjoy good food and great conversation. It’s marvellous having so many activities we can all join in.”
About Livewell sheltered housing
The service we provide for older people living in our sheltered housing in Bath and North East Somerset changed on 1 October 2016.
We introduced a new support service called Livewell. Livewell offers a more flexible service to meet customers’ needs. It ensures support is better targeted on the most vulnerable and those with complex needs (through Livewell+) and it offers a programme of activities and events through hubs in our sheltered housing.
From 1 October 2016 everyone living in sheltered housing, including those receiving benefits, will now have to pay the £3.60 weekly personal alarm charge.
- These changes affect all customers whose support is funded by Bath & North East Somerset Council.
- These changes do not affect Curo’s private customers in sheltered housing who fund their own support.
