Curo App frequently asked questions

 

 

How do I get the app?

Go to www.curo-group.co.uk/contact-us/try-the-curo-app - you’ll find all the details about how to download the app and get going.

What device do I need to use the app?

You’ll need an Android or Apple tablet or mobile phone.

Is the app free?

Yes – absolutely. We don’t charge you for using the app. Your service provider may charge you for downloading data – check your call plan to see what’s included. If you use the ‘call us’ link, you'll be charged for the call according to your normal call plan, just like any other call.

Is the app secure?

Before you can log in to the app we ask you to provide your tenancy ID. We check your details with the information we already have. You’ll only be able to register if you enter all these details in correctly. If you have problems, contact us - we can help.

I don't know my tenancy ID, how do I register?

Your tenancy ID number is on your latest rent statement. If you can't find this, get in touch with us.

The app won't let me register

Does Curo collect any information about me using the app?

The only data we collect is about the transactions you carry out through the app. We’ll be able to see that your enquiry came via the app. We don’t track your location, we don’t track any websites you may visit, and we don’t track anything else you may do on your device.

How up to date is the information on the app?

The app takes its information from our main IT systems, so the information you see is the same information we see. The app will check for the latest information whenever you open it. If you don’t have a network connection, the data may not be updated, in which case you’ll see data from the last time you used the app.

How far back does the information on the app go?

The app shows the most recent information when you use it. This means that some information – older than 90 days – may not be shown.

Can I see all my tenancies on the app?

Yes. You’ll be able to choose which tenancy the app shows, so if you have a home and a garage, you can switch between them. They’ll both be shown separately, so you may need to remember this when looking at your rent information.

I've forgotten my password, how do I get back in the app?

The app allows you to reset your password if you forget it. Choose ‘Forgot password’ from the log-in page, and follow the instructions. You’ll have to provide us with some information to check against, so we verify that you are who you say you are, but it should only take a few moments to sort out.
