  • Head of Commercial Property Management - Christopher Cox

    The Head of Commercial Property Management has been responsible for the oversight and development of Curo’s Commercial Property Services now for five years. Since forming they have centralised the various services including bringing operations such as Market Rent and Commercial shops into our managed services from external providers whilst expanding our service offer for our existing homeowners and garage customers.

    Christopher has experience of working in both the commercial and not-for-profit housing sectors for large organisations in his career history. In that time he has gained insight into the application of key legislative requirements for commercial and residential leasehold, private rent tenancies and licensing arrangements. He is well versed in developing services and has supported the recruitment of all team members since the creation of the Commercial Property service at Curo. These experiences have enabled us to shape our service around statutory requirements and industry best practice which are explored within these pages.

    As a team we have a clear purpose - Ensure we deliver the best possible customer experience, uphold the values of Curo all whilst maximising the potential of our commercial activities. That’s why its so important to share with you that all income generated by commercial services is invested into our social purpose of creating new homes.   • Commercial Property Manager (Leasehold) - Sara Gosman

    The role of Commercial Property Manager covers line management duties to three Administrators, as well as overseeing a range of activities with Curo’s homeowners. These activities include improving the sales process to homeowners, managing the relationships with third party managing agents, oversight of Section 20 consultations to leaseholders ahead of major works, management of the portfolio of commercial units under lease agreements, supporting the delivery and performance metrics for garages and parking spaces, and improving digital engagement and feedback from customers.

    Sara has worked for Curo for the last three in our Repairs service and has transferred to the Commercial Team to utilise her previous skills gained in property management. Before Curo Sara successfully ran her own property management business for 12 years managing large blocks of flats on behalf of leaseholders around the Somerset area, which she sold to join the Curo team.

    Sara takes responsibility of a team that manages all leasehold properties, along with managing agents and Curo’s commercial shops.

  • Commercial Property Manager (Accounts) - Danielle Parker

    The role of Commercial Property Manager covers line management duties to two Lettings Negotiators – Private Rent and one Commercial Accounts Advisor, as well as overseeing the income collection for the commercial portfolio. This includes homeownership, commercial shops, garages, parking spaces and market rent.

    Danielle is one of the Commercial Property Managers who is responsible for managing the income collection for all homeowners and Curo’s Market Rent service. Danielle joined the Commercial Property Services Team in the summer of 2017; she has previously had housing management experience, dealing with tenants in respect to rent collection, anti-social behaviour and lettings. She can often be found cycling to work, which by the way is 10 miles each way.

  • Commercial Administrators

    The purpose of the Commercial Administrator role is to provide the Commercial Property Services team with a comprehensive administrative support to ensure effective service delivery.

    This includes the letting and administration of our commercial garages portfolio, assisting with customer enquiries about tenancy obligations, sales information packs, responses to solicitor enquiries, communicating with leaseholders and shareholders on range of enquiries and processing sale notices. The role also includes involvement in dealing with Managing Agents and the Commercial Shops portfolio.

    Martin Meyers - Commercial Administrator

    Martin provides administrative support within all areas of the Commercial team from garage lets to leasehold enquiries. Martin attended the University of Manchester and previously worked for Savills’ Commercial Management Team. Martin comes with six years’ experience within the Residential Lettings and Property Management sector, he now lives in Bath and is currently studying towards the full Institute of Residential Property Managers qualification.

    Shannon Cresswell- Commercial Administrator

    Shannon provides administrative support within all areas of the Commercial team, including Leasehold and Garages enquires. Originally from Surrey, Shannon completed an ILSPA Legal Secretarial Diploma at Regents University in London. Shannon has ten years' experience in the commercial sector and is looking forward to using the knowledge she has gained in the world of Housing.

  • Commercial Accounts Advisor

    Natalie Russell

    The Commercial Accounts Advisor works with all of our home ownership customers in order to pay their service charge in accordance with their lease terms. She also looks after all of the Direct Debits in the Commercial Team (currently around 3,500 within the portfolio) which includes contacting customers who may have missed a payment and helping to them get back on track.

    She manages all of the Direct Debits for all our Commercial Business streams which include garages, market rent properties and commercial shops and offices. Alongside all of this, she also acts as a point of contact for all of our homeowners endeavouring to support them with any queries, and to ensure we provide a good customer service for all our customers.

    Natalie joined Curo in July 2020, she is responsible for covering the income collection of homeownership. She has spent the last three years working overseas in a variety of different accounts roles.

  • Lettings Negotiators

    We currently have two full time lettings negotiators within the Commercial Team, who handle all of the marketing and viewings for our commercial units and market rent homes. They also undertake all of the referencing and move in processes, periodic inspections and rent account management for our residential units.

    Matt Fowle - Lettings Negotiator

    Matt joined Curo at the start of 2020, having previously managed a variety of residential portfolios including bank, retail, investment and buy-to-let stock for a national property management company. Matt has over 10-years' experience in the lettings industry and is Propertymark Level 3 accredited. He now oversees the letting of Curo's market rent homes and commercial property portfolio. Outside of work, Matt's interests include watching Bath City FC, running for charity and coaching his son's local rugby team.

    Lisa Warren - Lettings Negotiator

    Lisa is a Lettings Negotiator for our private rented sector. After working in retail for many years while her two children were growing up, she decided to have a complete career change and started her journey at Curo.

    She started in our Customer Contact Team in 2015 progressing quickly to specialising in income collection. Lisa worked as an accounts advisor in both Customer Accounts and the Commercial Team for a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed the role. Keen to develop further within the commercial team and supported by the company, she has now progressed to Lettings Negotiator by taking her qualification in Residential Lettings and Property Management.

    Lisa lives in Bradford on Avon and enjoys long walks with her dog, enjoys fitness and even cycles the 10 miles to work occasionally.
